This is an elegant antique English bone china demitasse cup and saucer made by Crown Ducal, England with a mark dating to 1916-1925.

The design is a hand painted pink rose with cobalt blue and pale yellow banding with an overlay of a laurel wreath  border and gold trim. It would have been right at home in the Downton Abbey drawing room after dinner, or at tea.

The cup measure 2.15 inches high and the saucer being 4.55 inches in diameter.

The elegant antique demitasse cup and saucer has the original sticker for luxury New York 5th avenue store Bergdorf Goodman intact on the saucer.

The pattern number is 5498 I believe.

The set is beautiful and in very good used vintage condition with the tiniest cup rim fleabite that is felt only and some wear to the gold trim.
