UPDATE: I must share this. Customer asked me to incorporate the animal slit into an eyeglasses case. I took some creative liberties and used the scales on the tail as eyelashes.  See last image to see a photo provided by recipient.

Also, please note the glass gator eye he glued inside!!! This was literally the most fun customer-interaction experience.
