Love this maxi dress with its amazing print and fabulous lines. It really reminds me of the work Treacy Lowe was doing in this same time period and has that feel though it's cut is slightly more structured then the caftan like pieces Lowe was doing. It has wonderful wide sleeves that billow out from a cap sleeve. Each is full and left unlined so gives it a nice airy feel. The neck is scooped and the waist set high and it has its original belt that you can use to give it some shape at the empire. The skirt flows tot he floor from there and it is edged with the same contrasting design that the sleeves are finished with. It is a really pretty and well done piece. Excellent, appears unworn condition.
Fully lined in a navy blue silk with the sleeves left unlined, and closes at the back with a painted metal and nylon zipper. The belt snaps into place along the front and then hooks at the back to close. You can easily adjust the hooks on the belt for the perfect fit.
